Hello friends!  You’re invited to a special concert featuring two amazing ukulele acts and songwriters in the beautiful Saied Music Recital Hall of Tulsa, Oklahoma. Nationally touring songwriters and old friends, Danielle Ate the Sandwich (Fort Collins, CO) and Victor & Penny (Kansas City, MO) thrill and delight as they join forces for a night of music, ukuleles and fun.

ABOUT DANIELLE ATE THE SANDWICH

Danielle Ate the Sandwich is the stage name of indie-folk, songwriter, Danielle Anderson, best known for her YouTube videos and her recent work, composing the original soundtrack to the HBO documentary film “Packed in a Trunk: The Lost Art of Edith Lake Wilkinson.”  The true power of Danielle Ate the Sandwich, is her ability to sing stories both grand and small, with shiver-worthy vocals and thoughtful, honest lyrics. Danielle has been touring nationally since 2009, cultivating a dedicated fan base, affectionately referred to as ‘Fanwiches.’

The Denver Post says, “Danielle Anderson is a tender singer-songwriter, a brazen humorist, a fearless young woman. Anderson wields a ukulele, a guitar and her own words to tell stories about people.”

ABOUT VICTOR & PENNY

Victor & Penny deliver swing-infused folk-jazz in the band’s signature high-energy style with joy, humor, and soaring musical improvisation. Victor & Penny were named “Best Folk Ensemble 2015” by the PITCH; “Standout Concert of the Year” by the Joplin Globe; and are two-time Folk Alliance International official showcase artists. V&P feature tight vocal harmonies, dazzling guitar work, and a fiery ukulele. This corset-tight duo brings a modern Kansas City voice to their original tunes and prohibition era jazz with sterling musicianship. V&P and the LCO impress and delight with charm and hot licks and they are an “absolute rollicking blast.”
