Danielle Ate the Sandwich is the stage name of indie-folk, songwriter, Danielle Anderson, best known for her YouTube videos and her recent work, composing the original soundtrack to the HBO documentary film “Packed in a Trunk: The Lost Art of Edith Lake Wilkinson.”  The true power of Danielle Ate the Sandwich, is her ability to sing stories both grand and small, with shiver-worthy vocals and thoughtful, honest lyrics. Danielle has been touring nationally since 2009, cultivating a dedicated fan base, affectionately referred to as ‘Fanwiches.’

The Denver Post says, “Danielle Anderson is a tender singer-songwriter, a brazen humorist, a fearless young woman. Anderson wields a ukulele, a guitar and her own words to tell stories about people.”

Victor & Penny deliver swing-infused folk-jazz in the band’s signature high-energy style with joy, humor, and soaring musical improvisation. Victor & Penny were named “Best Folk Ensemble 2015” by the PITCH; “Standout Concert of the Year” by the Joplin Globe; and are two-time Folk Alliance International official showcase artists. V&P feature tight vocal harmonies, dazzling guitar work, and a fiery ukulele. This corset-tight duo brings a modern Kansas City voice to their original tunes and prohibition era jazz with sterling musicianship. V&P and the LCO impress and delight with charm and hot licks and they are an “absolute rollicking blast.”
